The Steady Reign was born from survival, healing, and the quiet decision to keep rebuilding — even after life kept falling apart.
Nicole’s Journey
Nicole Green is the author of My Eyes Hear What My Ears Cannot See, a memoir inspired by grief, survival, emotional healing, and learning how to live after devastating loss. Eleven years ago, Nicole lost her partner to suicide while also losing the child they shared — an experience that changed the course of her life forever.
What followed were years of emotional trauma, survival mode, rebuilding, and trying to navigate motherhood, healing, and life while carrying invisible pain. Over time, the emotional weight eventually became physical, leading Nicole through additional battles that included major health struggles, open-heart surgery, and once again having to start over from the beginning.
At the same time, she faced the exhausting reality of ongoing custody battles and navigating life after surviving an abusive relationship — constantly fighting not only for peace and stability, but for the safety and emotional wellbeing of her children and herself.
But somewhere in the middle of all the chaos, heartbreak, healing, and rebuilding, something meaningful was created.
The Steady Reign became more than a brand. It became a reflection of resilience, emotional healing, self-expression, faith, creativity, motherhood, and survival. A reminder that healing is not linear — and neither is becoming who you are meant to be.
Every journal, design, candle, piece of apparel, and creation is rooted in real experiences, real emotions, and the belief that even after trauma, there is still purpose, identity, creativity, softness, strength, and life left to live.
Our Mission

This space was created for the survivors.
